Serge Bogorat is a French designer active mainly during the 1960s and 1970s. Although documentation about his life and work is scarce, he became known for his innovative creations in furniture design, notably his famous "Cône" chair made of fiberglass, foam, and fabric, produced by Marais International. His work was exhibited at the 44th Salon des Artistes Décorateurs (SAD) in 1965, an important event showcasing emerging talents in French design. Serge Bogorat remains a representative figure of post-war design, combining technical innovation with modern aesthetics. His "Cône" chair is now an iconic piece preserved and recognized within collections of 1960s French design.
