KOK

Since the 1920s, KOK Maison has epitomized the warm elegance of rattan furniture in France, carrying forward a family craft over four generations. Founded by Pieter Kok—successor to a Dutch rattan tradition—the company established itself in France, transforming rattan from an exotic material into refined furnishings. At KOK, comfort is essential, quality uncompromising, and every chair—with its meticulously crafted curves—bears the mark of artisanal nobility.

Across the decades, KOK has built collections rooted in French stylistic heritage: from the Bagatelle range, reminiscent of Belle Époque charm, through 1920s–30s classics like Grand-Père, to mid-century retro icons such as the Emmanuelle chair. Embracing evolving times, the brand also incorporated locally sourced wicker, aligning with a sustainable, near-sourcing philosophy.

In 2020, KOK launched Orchid Edition, a contemporary line born from the dialogue between ancestral craftsmanship and the fresh visions of emerging French designers—AC/AL, At-Once, Guillaume Delvigne, and Jean-Michel Policar. Respecting the material’s authenticity, Orchid Edition redefines rattan’s graphic language with subtle modernity, lightness, and elegance.

Reputed for durability—with after-sales support and spare parts assured—KOK furniture endures through time. Blending soft comfort, timeless aesthetic, and artisanal quality, their pieces continue to grace interiors and gardens with the same grace that captured hearts in postwar decades and beyond.
