Felix Agostini

1910 — 1980

Félix Agostini (1910–1980) was a French sculptor and designer best known for his highly sculptural bronze lighting and furniture. Born in Paris, he first worked in advertising illustration before developing, from the mid-1950s onward, a body of lighting models initially sculpted in plaster and later cast in bronze. His work is characterized by stylized, often organic or figurative forms, positioned between sculpture and decorative design. He is now especially sought after for his wall lights, floor lamps, and tables produced from the 1950s through the 1970s.
