LES PLASTIQUES DE BOURGOGNE
Les Plastiques de Bourgogne (1968-1975) is a furniture manufacturer located in the Côte-d’Or department in France. The company was specialized in composite materials’ molding parts : resin, polyester and epoxy. During the 1970s, several designers called on the company to produce plastic furnitures ; among them, Alain Carré, Guy Boucher and Charles Zublena, who notably designed the Eurolax lounge chair and the Boule armchair. Les Plastiques de Bourgogne also worked on the molding of very large pieces such as the Six-Shell Bubble House by Jean-Benjamin Maneval (1968).
