VINCENT Jean Pierre
Jean-Pierre Vincent (1926-1992) is a French lighting designer. He studies at the Beaux-Arts in Lyon early 1950s. He interests first in art locksmithing, then turns to lighting. He specializes in the creation of lighting and becomes particularly active in 50s to 70s. He is in great demand by the city of Lyon, which places lots of orders. In 1975, he imagines the chandelier for the Lyon Perrache Exchange Center, one of the largest chandeliers in the world, measuring 9 meters high and 7 meters wide.
